Le Mur

Le Mur is a French-language cinematic rock title by AZERIC. Through two people separated by a wall, it opens onto a broader reflection on all the walls human beings build between one another: borders, conflict, difference, fear, silence and misunderstanding. The wall becomes both a physical barrier and an inner fracture, a symbol of what separates peoples as much as individuals. Set within a dark, poetic and highly visual atmosphere, Le Mur questions our difficulty in reaching one another despite everything that divides us.

Within the AZERIC universe, Le Mur does not refer to one specific place or conflict. It points instead to a universal image: the visible and invisible barriers running through societies, relationships and individual consciousness. Its 1930s-inspired visual staging turns that separation into a timeless tableau, where dance, the material presence of the wall and the distance between bodies extend the meaning of the title.

Le Mur speaks as much about borders between peoples as about the walls each of us can build around ourselves.
